The Scottish SPCA has "prevention of cruelty and promotion of kindness" as its core values. Central to this is lifelong education in animal welfare.

Through our free schools outreach programme, education at animal welfare centres, education resources and courses for young people and adults, we promote good practice in all areas where humans have an impact on the animals we share our lives with.
